First Class

Welcome to Bikram Yoga Toronto East


A few tips to get you started:

  • Avoid eating at least 3 hours before class
  • No need to book class, beginners are welcome to all classes
  • Come well hydrated and be prepared to sweat
  • Arrive 15 minutes before class begins
  • Yoga room is Scent Free, please do not wear any scents
  • Wear something you can easily sweat in
  • First time mat and towel are complimentary
  • Please notify the teacher of any injuries, illness, recent surgery or medication
  • Be open minded. Enjoy it. Have fun with it.

Studio Etiquette
  • Leave your cell any other belongings in the change room, only bring your mat, water and towel in the yoga room
  • Please observe noble silence in the yoga room at all times
  • Use quiet time and meditation to prepare your self for the class
  • Listen to the teacher. All the information you will hear is to guide you through your 90 minute practice
  • Stay in the room. There is only one first time
  • Keep your shower time to a minimum when others are waiting
  • Enjoy your newfound energy and peace you are taking with you
  • Any questions feel free to talk to the teacher
